There are 6 wheelchair parking spaces, which are located closest to the Centre in the public car park. The car park is tarmaced and leads to a boardwalk to the Centre which has no steps or steep climbs. The front doors are not automatic. We have a first floor which can be accessed via a lift and doors leading to this are open using a magnetic system. There is a wheelchair/accessible toilet which is located near Reception, these are open and not locked. There is no entry fee. Located in the Centre are two mobility scooters which can be used by mobility card holders. Also there is a wheelchair located at Reception. Outside the Centre there are various paths which are dust paths which go around the Nature Reserve. There are also 3 wheelchair friendly Hides located around the Reserve.

armagh planetarium
The Planetarium is now fully accessible for everyone. There are wheelchair parking spaces directly outside the building but if they are in use then there is a car park just a bit further on. A ramp leads all the way up to the front door and there are no steps or gravel. Inside is the same, no steps, and there is a lift (its a bit small though). There are accessible toilets upstairs and downstairs. The auditorium is also wheelchair accessible, and if needed seats can be removed. Its advisable to phone in advance and let the staff know you are coming, but everyone has to phone in advance anyway as shows have to be booked. The only place that wasn't totally accessible was the craft room where children could make rockets while waiting on the show starting. You have to go down a few steps to get outside to launch your rocket, but the staff told me there is a way to get down, it just involves going out of the room and using an alternative route. All in all the planetarium is a pretty accessible place for everyone.
